How to use Betabar Ophthalmic Sol 5ml?

• Wash your hands before opening the bottle to avoid contaminating the tip
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket
• Place one drop into the pocket without letting the dropper tip touch your eye, eyelid, or fingers
• Close your eye gently for one to two minutes and press lightly at the inner corner of the eye to reduce drainage into the nose
• Leave a gap of at least five minutes before using any other eye drop in the same eye
• Apply the drop at the same times each day, usually twice daily, unless your doctor advises otherwise

Drug Interactions

• Oral beta blockers: Combining these with Betabar can add up to slow the heart rate further and lower blood pressure more than intended.
