How to use Betabar Ophthalmic Solution 0.5%?
- Wash hands before use
- Tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket
- Instill one drop into the affected eye as directed, usually once or twice daily
- Press gently on the inner corner of the eye for one minute after instillation
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface
- Wait at least five minutes before using any other eye drop
- Replace the cap tightly after each use
Drug Interactions
- Oral Beta Blockers: Combining with oral beta blockers can additively slow the heart rate and lower blood pressure.
- Calcium Channel Blockers: Concurrent use may increase the risk of slowed heart rate and low blood pressure.
