How to use Brufen DS Suspension 200mg / 5ml?
- Give strictly according to your child's body weight, usually 5mg to 10mg per kg per dose
- This DS suspension is double the strength of the standard 100mg/5ml Brufen syrup, so the measured volume needed is half compared to the standard strength for the same dose
- Never substitute this DS suspension volume for volume with the standard strength syrup, always recalculate the dose with your doctor or pharmacist
- Use only the marked oral syringe or measuring cup provided with the pack
- Shake the bottle well before every use
- Give after feeding or with milk to reduce stomach upset
- Space doses at least 6 to 8 hours apart and do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours
- Do not use for more than 3 days for fever or 5 days for pain without consulting a doctor
Drug Interactions
