Ceclor Syrup Uses

Ceclor syrup is used for the treatment of bacterial infections like urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, otitis media, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, etc.

Ceclor syrup is composed of Cefaclor, which is a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by disrupting the cell wall of the bacteria, hence making it difficult for them to survive. Antibiotics can only fight against bacteria. They are not active against viruses. Therefore, they are given to treat bacterial infections only.
