How to use Co-Amstan Tablet 10mg/160mg/25mg?

• Take Co-Amstan Tablet once daily, at the same time each day.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.
• Check your blood pressure regularly while on this medicine.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is close to your next dose.

Drug Interactions

• Potassium sparing diuretics or potassium supplements: Can raise potassium to unsafe levels when combined with valsartan.
• Lithium: This combination can raise lithium levels and increase toxicity risk.
• NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or diclofenac: May reduce the blood pressure lowering effect and affect kidney function.
• Other blood pressure medicines: Combined use can cause blood pressure to drop too low.
• Simvastatin: High dose amlodipine combined with simvastatin can raise the risk of muscle related side effects.
