Duragesic Tablet 35mg / 450mg Benefits

What Experts Say
Orphenadrine works mainly on the central nervous system rather than directly on muscle fibers. It has anticholinergic activity that reduces nerve signals responsible for muscle tightening after an injury or strain. This central action eases spasm without paralyzing normal movement, but it also explains side effects like dry mouth and drowsiness.
Paracetamol works differently. It lowers pain and mild fever by acting on pain and temperature centers in the brain rather than by reducing inflammation at the injury site. Pairing it with a muscle relaxant addresses spasm and pain through two separate pathways, which is why this combination is often reached for over a single ingredient tablet.
Clinicians generally position this combination for short courses of a week or two during an acute flare of muscle spasm, not for long term daily use. Ongoing pain that does not settle with rest and short term medicine needs proper evaluation rather than repeated self medication. Anyone with heart, liver, prostate or eye conditions should confirm suitability with a doctor first.
