ECP Tablet Uses

ECP Tablet is used as an emergency contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure, such as a broken condom or missed birth control pill. It is not intended for use as a regular contraceptive method and should not be used to terminate an existing pregnancy. ECP tablet is most effective when taken as soon as possible after intercourse, preferably within 72 hours, but can be effective up to 120 hours after.
