How to use Fenamic tablet 250mg?

• Adults: 500 mg (two Fenamic 250 mg tablets) three times daily after food, or as prescribed.
• Take with food or milk to protect the stomach.
• For period pain, start at the first sign of pain and continue only as long as needed.
• Do not use for longer than 7 days unless the doctor advises, and avoid in young children.

Drug Interactions

• Warfarin: It can increase the risk of bleeding.
• Other NSAIDs and aspirin: Together they raise the risk of ulcers and bleeding.
• ACE inhibitors and diuretics: They may reduce blood pressure control and strain the kidneys.
• Lithium and methotrexate: Mefenamic acid can increase their levels and toxicity.

• Stomach bleeding and ulcers: Mefenamic acid can irritate the gut lining and cause bleeding.
