Fusil Cream Uses

Fusil cream has an active ingredient in the form of an antibiotic called fusidic acid, which inhibits bacterial growth and prevents infection by stopping the production of proteins that enable bacteria to flourish. Thus, it helps facilitate an effective immune response against any remaining pathogens for ultimate eradication. The cream is indicated for the treatment of primary and secondary skin infections caused by sensitive strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus species, and Corynebacterium minutissimum.

How to use Fusil Cream 2% 15gm?

• Remove the cap
• Inspect and ensure there’s no defect in the seal before attempting your first use of this cream
• Open the seal with a sharp-pointed object so that the cream can be taken out with ease
• Ensure that you always wash your hands before applying Fusil cream
• Gently massage the medication onto the affected area of the skin
• Be mindful not to apply it around the eyes especially when using it on the face.
• If the medicine gets into your eyes, immediately flush it out with lukewarm water, followed by a dose of eyewash if possible. Your vision might start to blur or experience sensitivity or pain. Visit an ophthalmologist as soon as possible if these symptoms occur
• Unless you are treating your hands with Fusil cream, be sure to wash them following application
• Fusil cream is for topical use only and shouldn’t be ingested
• Do not use this cream after the mentioned expiry date
• Use this cream according to the dosage and duration mentioned by your doctor
• Usually, you should apply this medicine three or four times daily for 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the severity of the infection.
