How to use Gen-M Injection 30mg?
- Administered only by a doctor or trained healthcare provider through IV or IM route.
- Usual severe malaria dose is calculated by body weight and given at 0, 12 and 24 hours, then once daily if needed.
- Reconstituted solution is used within one hour of preparation.
- Followed by a complete oral antimalarial course once the patient can swallow tablets.
- Blood glucose and vital signs are monitored throughout treatment.
Drug Interactions
- Other Antimalarials: Combining with mefloquine or quinine without medical guidance can increase side effects.
