How to use Masacol Tablet 800 mg?
- Take Masacol Tablet 800 mg exactly as your gastroenterologist prescribes.
- Swallow each tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, split, or suck the tablet, because this destroys the delayed release coating.
- A typical adult induction course uses 2.4g per day in divided doses, followed by a lower maintenance dose. Follow your own prescription.
- Take your doses at the same times each day and stay consistent about taking them with or without meals.
- Drink plenty of water during treatment to protect your kidneys.
- Do not stop maintenance therapy when symptoms improve unless your doctor tells you to.
- Tell your doctor if you repeatedly notice intact tablet shells in your stool.
