Mykast tablet 10mg formula
How to use Mykast tablet 10mg?
- Take one tablet by mouth, usually in the evening.
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
- Use daily as prescribed, even when symptoms feel better.
- Not effective for a sudden asthma attack, use a rescue inhaler for that.
Drug Interactions
Tell the doctor about all current medicines before starting Mykast.
- Phenobarbital: May lower Montelukast levels and reduce its effect.
- Rifampin: Can speed up Montelukast breakdown in the body.
- Other asthma medicines: Usually safe to combine but the doctor should review the full plan.
