What is Qbal used for

Contains Mecobalamin, an active form of Vitamin B12.

• Vitamin B12 deficiency
• Diabetic and other peripheral neuropathies
• Megaloblastic anemia caused by low B12 levels
• Nerve regeneration after injury

How does it work

Mecobalamin supports red blood cell formation and DNA synthesis.

Also helps repair the myelin sheath around nerves.

Who should not use it

• Patients with a known allergy to cobalamin or cobalt
• Patients with Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy
• Patients with an active infection at the injection site

A doctor should confirm B12 deficiency through blood tests before starting.

Dosage and Administration

Usual dose for nerve pain is one ampoule three times a week.

For B12 deficiency anemia, treatment often continues for about two months before a maintenance dose.

How to use Qbal IM / IV-INJ injection 500mcg?

• Chloramphenicol: May reduce the blood building response.
