Drug Interactions

• Ciprofloxacin: Sevelamer can reduce absorption of this antibiotic, so doses should be spaced apart.
• Levothyroxine: Absorption may be reduced, so thyroid hormone should be taken well apart from this tablet.
• Immunosuppressants: Drugs such as cyclosporine and mycophenolate may have reduced absorption if taken at the same time.
