Spasrid Tablet Uses

Spasrid is a prescription medication that is composed of Phloroglucinol and Trimethylphloroglucinol. It is used for the treatment of smooth muscle spasms and for the symptomatic treatment functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. Spasrid can be used to treat smooth muscle spasm problems associated with a number of conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), dysentery, diarrhea, renal and biliary colic, as well as menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea).
