Zetro Tablet Uses

Zetro is an antibiotic medication that is used to treat various bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin infections, typhoid, sinusitis, and otitis media, etc. It contains Azithromycin, which is a type of macrolide antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Mostly, macrolide antibiotics are given if the bacteria are resistant to penicillin antibiotics. However, since antibiotics are only effective against bacterial infections, it is not advised to use Zetro 250 mg for the treatment of viral infections.

How to use Zetro Capsule 250mg?

Take the tablet by mouth with a glass of water
Do not crush or chew the tablet
Follow the dosage instructions of your doctor
Take it with or without food as recommended by your doctor
Do not stop taking the tablet abruptly even if you feel better
Do not exceed the prescribed dosage
