Asked for Female, 29 years

A lactating mother with her 2 months baby used multivitamins in TDS mistakenly instead of OD now her breast milk reduced very much she can only lactate her baby at night. So any medicine for her to induce her breast milk production or she start her baby on cow milk.

Dear Patient,

I'm so sorry to hear that. Its alright. She can have foods like makhana, corn, chicoo, saunf, zeera that increase milk. Have two glasses of water before each feed. And take 2 tablets motilium three times a day to increase milk flow. Do NOT start the newborn on cows milk. Formula milk may be used to temporarily support the child’s nutritional needs.
