Alternative for Pintin Tablet

Asked for Male, 50 years

One of my relative is taking a tablet Pintin Tab 25mg from last three years. From last 2 weeks this tablet is not available as pharmacies claim that the manufacturer of this medicine is closed and this particular medicine was prescribed by psychiatrist. I want to know an alternative medicine?

Dear Patient,

Pintin tablet is a combination of two medicines. We can tell you the chemical names of both and you can ask your local pharmacist for any good brand replacement either as two different pills or as a combined pill.
Its called Olanzapine 3mg and Fluoxetine 25mg. Hope this helps. If not then you can revisit a psychiatrist for a further treatment plan.
