Atopic Allergy

My baby has developed atopic allergy. Doctor told me to test her products for every 3 days (shampoo, oil, lotion) and has given 1% hydrocortisone. I have tried testing the products but still I am unable to figure out what is the reason. Previously I was using Olive oil that caused heat rash on her body and she developed baby acne. Can almond oil cause allergy to her? I am eating Panjiri and egg almost daily, can this cause the allergy through my feed? How many times should I apply hydrocortisone

Dear Patient,

Yes, almond oil may not suit sensitive skin. Please buy organic Coconut Oil and apply it on his skin, it would really suit him. The mother’s milk undergoes many processes before it reaches the kid, so nothing you eat can cause harm as such, if you feel, however, that your diet is too strong you can eat the same foods in smaller quantities and see if there is a change. Hydrocortisone should ONLY be applied to the exact parts where there is a rash, you can apply it twice a day particularly when the child is asleep so she doesn’t touch it or consume it by mistake.
