Baby Constipation

My 22 months daughter is a patient of chronic constipation. No laxative work as a permanent relief sometimes we even have to insert suppositories. She is not even taking any solids that much. Plz tell me if there is any permanent cure for this? Secondly can cerelac wheat be a cause of constipation?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. You can find out if cerelac is causing this by stopping it for a week. If stools are better then it may be a cause.
The permanent cure for constipation is to eat fiber rich foods and include Benefiber/ispaghol in your childs diet. Including one or all of the foods that help pass stools like those below. Also be persistent and force your kid to have these with love and games
