My daughter swallowed a balloon and I immediately fed her with a banana. So far she is perfectly fine. But, I am still concerned. My question is, is there anything I need to worry about?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear this. Just wait and watch observe the stools carefully to check if balloon pieces pass, you will see them.
If the child vomits, has a fever, starts bending with pain and holding the stomach, has constipation then rush to the ER.
It should pass within 48hrs of swallowing. If not then see a doctor.
