Baby Milk

My baby was 4 kg at the time of birth now after 3 months he is 5.8 kgs. I am giving him morinaga bf 1.. but he looks very weak and milk intake is also not according to the quantity prescribed on box. Its approx 30 ounces and he is taking 18 ounces in 24 hrs. Can I switch him to cow? As my sister told me that her daughter is taking the same and gaining weight as well.

Dear Patient,

According to the standard weight chart of baby boys your child is in the 15-85th percentile of range and hence is not underweight at all. Ive attached it below so you can see it. Yes it can be more but hes not “under' weight.
Please dont switch to cow milk before 2yrs. Formula milks are fortified to suit a child’s needs.
You can switch to a different brand and yes 18oz of milk is less. Perhaps give him more tummy time during the day to boost his digestion and help him feel hungrier
