Baby Milk Formula

We have our flight for Madina on 23rd July. We are giving our baby girl Nan1 Optipro formula milk. Is it good enough? Because it seems like she has lost a little weight in a while. I am worried because I have to leave her for 43 days. Also, how much milk should be given to her and what should be the time duration between each feed.

Dear Patient,

If the child is not having vomiting, diarrhea or crying excessively after taking milk then it is suiting her. All formulas are reinforced with nutrients to help a child in her growing years. 1-month-old child takes 4oz every 4 hours. A 6 month old takes 6-8oz per feed, 4-5 times/day. At this age, you can introduce one food per week in pureed form. Like avocado or banana. Free water can be started at 4 months, 1oz or 2 is enough.
These are general guidelines but a child may take a little less or more depending on appetite.
