Baby not eating

My 9 months old baby girl was a good eater but from last 1 week, she is not eating anything. She keeps the food in her mouth and doesn't swallow it and the food remains in her mouth for hours. She's not teething and even doesn't have congestion. What could be the reason behind and how can I make her swallow food?

Dear Patient,

Perhaps shes coming down with a flu. Sometimes the kids throat is hurting and they find it hard to swallow then. Notice if she is running a fever.
Regardless, you can easily feed her with a basket of toys. Change the toys after every bite or two, when the child is distracted with toys/audio nursery rhymes/some form of toy they are more likely to chew and swallow their food. Taking the child outdoors like the garden, terrace etc. Then they are busy looking around n likely to eat.
