Baby Stool Problem

My son is 2 years old. He is taking buffalo milk since long.but whenever he takes solids like roti, apple, banana, he poops. My elders ask me not to go for any doc give him gripe water but no effect. I'm fed up of changing diapers.he does poop 3 times a day must.his weight is good 15 kg.what should I do?.plz help me. should I consult some pediatrician?

Dear Patient,

No its completely normal for kids to poop often. If the stools are not watery, dont have a weird smell, have no blood or mucus or stomachache then its normal- but if he develops it then show him to a child specialist. It is exhausting to take care of such kids but theres no need for gripe water. You can balance his meals and introduce some binding foods like yogurt, sagoodana and give a few pinch of ispaghol to him mixed in yogurt. Cow milk is easier to digest than buffalo’s and is most advisable for kids.
