Baby's Behavior

My toddler who's about to be 3 years old in the start of next year has a strange way of acting whenever we took him for the vaccinations or a checkup. He cried from the bottom of his lungs so bad that sometimes doctor go confused or do not perform a proper check-up. Is that normal? How to overcome this situation and calm him down? I need an expert opinion on this.

Dear Patient,

This is completely normal. Your child is developing and maturity and as he matures he will not feel happy about having doctors poke his throat or putting needles in him.
You can try discussing with him from before or distracting him with his favorite toys whichever works better, you can promise to reward him after with ice cream or candy or a too. Doctors see kids cry all the time. Your child's anxiety is normal and will go with time and age and love.
