Bad Cough

My 2.9 yr daughter has a very bad cough at midnight. I am giving her coferb syrup. She is fine throughout the day with little or no cough. But around fajar time she wakes up with a very bad cough. Can you plz guide what could be the reason.

Dear Patient,
She could be having allergies, are you giving her a tsp of antiallergy syrup Zyrtec twice a day? Do you give her steam and nebulize her with saline least twice a day? Apply Vicks on her chest back and feet and cover them at bedtime. Make sure the fan or ac air doesn't land on her nose directly. Early morning cough could be due to dryness, give her room temperature water and light a humidifier in her room before sleeping, put two drops norsaline nasal drops in each nostril before bed. If this doesn't help kindly see a specialist.
