Blood Pressure

Asked for Male, 25 years

My brother is 19 years old, we recently checked his blood pressure by chance and that was 140/100. Now we check his blood pressure daily and it remains at 140/100 and he feels so normal. My father is also a blood pressure patient. Is this normal as he doesn't feel anything?

No at such a young age it may be genetic but not normal. We would recommend you to meet a reputable medical specialist who can run some tests to assess his fitness. Initially lifestyle changes like more physical activity- walk/run/gym, avoiding oily fatty foods, eating foods rich in vitamins A,C,E would be recommended. But if this don't help then he will need to take treatment to avoid any damage to his body due to high bp.
