Bruises on legs

My son is having a problem since a month. Small bruises are appearing on his legs and sometimes on the arms too. When pressed they hurt as well. Since this week he has been having bruises every day. What could be causing this? What can we do to get rid of this condition?

Dear Patient,

Consider seeing a child specialist who specializes in hematology. If unavailable meet with a hematologist. Its best to show these bruises. Before the appointment take reports of a fresh blood CBC, ESR with you.
Some people may have bruises due to no reason, others have it due to low platelets. But this must be reviewed before treatment can be discussed.
