Bump on Eyelid

My 3.10 years son got a bump on eyelid 4 or 5 days ago looks like chalazion no pain, no redness, not much irritation. I will definitely check with the doctor as well but I need a quick opinion too. I am little worried.

Dear Patient,

If possible you will have to look from the underside of the eyelid. If the skin on the inside is smooth but red this is just a normal stye which will go itself using better hygeine, warm compressions and an oral syrup like brufen. If the skin under it is like small bubbles, or rough and looks infected- then its viral infection and will need topical eyedrops and no warm compresses.
