Can't concieve

It has been 2 and a half years since I got married and got pregnant after few months by getting treatment but miscarriage happened in the 3rd month. Ever since then, I couldn’t conceive. I took a lot of treatments but the doctors tell me that everything is normal. My HSG was clear and now my periods are 7 days late. I did pregnancy strip test and it was negative. I want to know what could be the reason?

Dear Patient,

A strip test can often be inaccurate, you may repeat it or do a Serum Beta HCG blood test to be sure of pregnancy.
Avoid stress and keep calm. Although, this is a difficult period for you but having all tests normal is a positive sign and it means your chances of conceiving are great. Be patient and positive and keep trying.
It may also be possible that due to hormonal changes the periods are delayed and not on time. This is again normal for the human body.
