My daughter is suffering from chickenpox. My question is can I give her a bath? Some say to give her a bath and some say not too. She is suffering from severe itching due to the chickenpox. Can I use calamine lotion?

Dear Patient,

Yes you can use calamine lotion
Yes, bathe and change her towels, bedding, clothes daily.
Boil neem leaves in water and uses that water to bathe her as its disinfectant.
Rub her wounds gently with washed and dried soft neem leaves and stalks, scratching with nails will infect the wounds and complicate the case and leave marks.
Maintain hygiene,
Isolate the child from unvaccinated children, visitors, and adults who haven't had chicken pox. We wish her a speedy recovery.
