Chicken Pox

My 5 year old got chicken pox and it's day three. Still getting them on different places water blisters. I want to know how to take care? What food to avoid. The doctor gave him antibiotic is it good to give it? Or we should let it thrive on its own. Antibiotic will suppress it isn't it? Please explain

Dear Patient,

Antibiotics prevent any secondary infection/bacteria from harming the already weak person so there's no harm in giving it.
Used dried neem leaves to scratch his body if he gets itchy.
Ask the child to avoid using nails to itch as they cause infection and scarring. Give bath daily with boiled neem leaves the water. Wash his clothes n bedding daily with surf n disinfectant like Dettol.
Avoid junk foods and outside food. Give lots of water fruits and home-cooked foods that the child likes to eat. We wish him a quick recovery.
