Child bleeding nose

I have a question. What causes nose bleeding in children. Is there something to worry? my son's nose often bleed but the bleeding stops after washing please can anyone guide me..he is 7 years old (the bleeding occurs about every 3 to 4 months, the blood is fresh, red and thin blood plus he doesn't scratch his nostrils.. The blood comes from right nostril always)

I'm sorry to hear that. All of us have really thin-walled vessels in our nose. For some when they poke their nose it bleeds, for others, it bleeds on its own due to dryness, high blood flow, etc.
All we can tell you is its normal and not an abnormality. You can apply pink polyfax in his nostrils from time to time or a little petroleum jelly gently. Avoid picking nose and rinse with water when there is a booger to clean. Keep a humidifier in his room at night to help keep his nostrils moist.
