Dear doctors Chronic wound from last 3 months, by basic history she is 24year old female not diabetic, she have to stand for at least 7hour in her job. currently she applying pyodine. Please suggest me treatment or medicine for her

Dear Patient,

This is a pressure sore. She must avoid pressure pn this area at all costs, keep it dry and protect from dust- air dry when it gets dirty and keep it open. Wear soft chappals with good support like aerosoft for walking. Apply mycitracin ointment 3 times a day and continue cleaning with pyodine. If this doesnt settle in 1 week she needs to see a medical specialist.
