Continous coughing

Asked for Male, 6 years

My 2 years old continuously coughing with a fever that goes up and down with medicine, went to a child specialist who advised dolor ds for fever Jardin d, prospane, and cefspan. It's been two days and I see not an ounce of difference in his condition, currently the main issue is coughing as he cannot sleep because of it, please advise if I shall wait or visit another doctor.

I'm sorry to hear that. Kindly continue these medicines. Allergies take time to settle, cough is the last thing to settle. Kindly keep a humidifier in his room at night, give him steam thrice daily keeping the steamer an arm's length away. Apply Vicks to his chest and back at bedtime.
