Cough and Flu

My 10 days baby is sneezing coughing and I feel flu symtoms too I called my doctor and he said give her panadol drops. I don't wanna give medicine to a baby please suggest what should I do. I think its viral because other kids are having same issues.

Dear Patient,

If you see that baby has a fever above 100 degrees then panadol syrup quarter dropper can be given hourly. Other than that, no other medicine is recommended. The infection is viral and will go at its time. Also, Keep the baby warm, the room clean and use a steamer for steam. If it is not effective, then visit a pediatrician.
