Diarrhea Problem

My baby niece is very ill and suffers from Diarrhea since a few months. Her condition is quite bad since 9 days now, due to urinary infection and has lost 6 Kg weight. We have admitted her to the hospital for two days. I am really worried. Kindly, Help out in any way possible?

Dear Patient,

I hope your niece is better now. It seems she has gastric and urinary symptoms both. I would suggest finding a good “gastroenterologist who deals well with paeds cases too' and a urologist who deals with paeds.
If the problem keeps occurring every few mths then some thorough tests will be performed to find out why this is happening. It may be something mild and easily treatable like a food allergy. Please do not be stressed out and once she is discharged make appointments with the doctors suggested. Good luck.
