Diet in Pregnancy

I had an emergency C section and got my labor pain two days before the C section. The doctor gave me medicine and told me that my cervix size is 2cm which is less after medication that I am taking. My baby had stomach infection too so she was admitted in nursery for 3 days. We gave her a course of antibiotics 2 times a day so now she feels fine. I believe that my water intake is more than I normally urinate and also feel immense pain in my kidney. What should I eat and what should I avoid?

Dear Patient,

For C section the care your doctor has told you is enough, you can walk around as much as you like, heavy weight lifting isnt recommended for some mths. If you are nursing you can eat healthy homecooked foods, if anything makes you ill or gassy, avoid that. Take 2 glasses of water before each feed of the baby. Wherr exactly is your pain? If the pain is severe, or you have a fever, or your urine is extremely dark you should see a urologist with a fresh Urine DR test report.
