Dizziness

It is my third C section in 4 years and this time I am really sick and extremely dizzy after every 20 days. Especially when I am laying in bed or in any such position. I have been using high pillows in my previous two pregnancies and now I can only use flat ones. I want to know if feeling dizziness is normal?

Dear Patient,

How long has it been since your last c section & this one (2nd & 3rd deliveries?) how many days has it been since the surgery? Are you eating well? Are you nursing your child? Were there any complications in the procedure? Are you taking your postnatal vitamins?
We would recommend you do a CBC and refer back to a gynecologist for an opinion. Meanwhile, take your calcium tab and fefolvit capsules daily for 6-8 weeks to help with the weakness. Eat well- fruits veggies, yogurt, juices, egg, milk and take out ten mins daily for yourself to relax and take care of yourself.
