Eyes hurt after 30 min of using computer

I am a programmer, and I use the computer for 12 hours every day. My eyes start hurting after 30 minutes of staring at the computer. I do not have any vision issues, apart from the pain that I feel. Please guide

Dear Patient,

Have you gone for an eye check-up in the last six mths? If not, please do so and continue this practice every 6 months.
Also, there are tinting stickers/screens available to attach to the front of your screen so as to minimize the glare of the screen.
If possible try getting up or even just looking away from your screen every 15-30mins for a period of 5mibs at a wall or window near you. This should help reduce the pain. Splash a little bit of cold water into your eyes. Apply Systane eye drops if needed in each eye upto 2-3 times/day.
