My baby boy is about to be 10 months old and doesn’t get up for milk feeding at night. I want to know at what age should I stop feeding him with my milk? Is it fine if he feeds only in the mornings or should I wake him at night and feed him?

Dear Patient,

Try waking him up for milk after 6hrs of sleep for one to two feeds during the night. After 1yr of age its safe for kids to consume other milk like cow’s but we recommend nursing a child till he's two yrs of age as it has all the necessary nutrients for a child. However, if you feel weak or overwhelmed you may wean him off after the age of 12 months to another form of milk that suits him.
