Feet gets Numb

My mother is having this issue since 2 weeks. Her feet suddenly gets hard, it starts getting numb often then after a light massage it gets better but starts again after a while I am a bit worried as what can be the cause or to which doctor we should concern? Can anyone suggest what is it and why uts happening? Thankyou

I'm sorry to hear this. Is there any swelling/pain/morning or afternoon stiffness in the feet? Is it one or both feet? Is this happening elsewhere in the body? Does she have diabetes or blood pressure?
