Fetal Portal Vein Dilation

On my 32 weeks plus ultrasound the scan shows fetal portal vein dilation of 11 mm almost What does that mean and how serious it is and could it be just an ultrasound error or it actually stays like this after birth? What complications does the baby face after birth? If any doctor or gynecologist or mother could guide me on fetal portal vein dilation?

Series of ultrasounds will need to be done. You and your child will be monitored critically. You will need to stay calm and positive until diagnosis is confirmed.
