Flu Problem

2.5 months old baby is on b.f + top feed. Mother and baby both are having the flue. Which precautions should be taken? Any home remedy to get rid of the flue.

Dear Patient,

Wash hands thoroughly before and after touching child, make sure to use the correct nursing position when feeding the child (video attached) as this is the most common reason for milk going into the nose and ears of a child and causing infection. Put one drop norsaline nasal drops in each nostril of the child before bedtime and feed. Fill a small bathroom with steam n sit with your child daily for ten mins 2-3times/day. There's no need to expose the child directly to the steamer. Rub Woodward's chest rub on the child's chest. The mother can take Tab softin 10mg at night for a week, panadol if there's throat ache, warm soups, and turmeric-honey-lemon water.
