Fracture recovery

Aoa,i've got a fracture in my pinky toe almost 2 weeks ago , doctor said it might take 8 to 9 weeks to heal the toe.Now I'm trying to walk without crutches also i've started little house chores. Now question is, is it ok to put little pressure on my broken toe while walking or working, or it will effect on healing process?

Dear Patient,

Please apply cast on the fractured toe so you can apply little pressure on the cast. but its advisable not to put any pressure on it at all as it delays healing. kindly get your vitamin D tested if not done so already and keep taking your calcium supplements regularly to strengthen your bones.
