Frequent Urination

A woman in her mid-fifties has a problem of frequent urination, especially at night time. She has to wake up several times in the night to pass urine which is affecting her sleep and overall health. Had her sugar checked and it was normal. Has no other known medical problem only that she has hypertension since years and is on medication as well.

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. This is a common symptom of hypertensive patients. Which medications is she taking? Some medicines make the patient urinate more to relieve high BP.
Sometimes readjusting dose or timings can help this.
