High Fever

My seven-month-old daughter is having a high fever with a sore throat and nasal congestion. She is not taking proper feed. And also vomit if I give her panadol infant drops. Doctors are not available coz of Sunday. Please suggest something that to do. Looking for a quick response. Thank you

Dear Patient,

Vomiting is good in congestion as it can relieve congestion. However you can take her to a small room full of steam like the bathroom and sit with her for ten mins twice a day, this will help relieve her congestion so she can consume milk. Give her two drops norsaline nasal drops in each nose before bed and milk. Give panadol drops as needed. If the vomiting is severe start Pedialyte and takes to the nearest hospital.
