Infection with White Discharge

I have a severe infection with white discharge. and it's my six months of pregnancy. My gynecologist gave me vagibact for 6 days but after using it I have an infection again with itching and discharge. Should I repeat that cream? and what's the reason for having it again and again.please help

Dear Patient,

You can repeat it again but if it's frequent and repetitive its best to reconsult your gynecologist to perhaps even take another antibiotic and cream along with it.
Pregnancy is a time of low immunity so infections can happen repeatedly. Also, wear pure cotton underwear and change them daily. If you sweat a lot, then you can also avoid wearing undergarments. Keep vaginal area clean and dry and free of hair.
