Itching on Body

4 years old male child presenting complaint itching on all over the body and this rash too from 5 days He has a past history of swelling all over body 2 and a half years ago No family history of this kind of allergy. Diagnose and suggest medicines

Dear Patient,

Kindly take him to a child specialist. I believe this may be urticariA and if the flaring up is regular you must notice what foods and fabrics cause this and avoid them. In addition, give him 1tsp syrup Zyrtec daily for a week along with tab myteka 4mg once a day for few weeks. These should help suppress his allergies. Once this settles down you must find the trigger for this and avoid it as your child is allergic to it.
